Steve Takes Over NYC

A Minecraft Movie has been a summer blockbuster smash success for Warner Bros. grossing nearly 200 million dollars in it’s opening weekend and so far has grossed nearly one billion dollars worldwide.

While working alongside Experiential Supply and Warner Bros. we knew this movie was going to be big even before it hit the screens. We saw massive numbers on social media for our stunt with the Steves and collaboration with McDonalds. Audiences on social media are an great early predictor for audiences at the box office and viral marketing such as the Minecraft Steve Stunt and the viral Chicken Jockey videos had a great impact on the movies success.
